Combating HIV/AIDS and Supporting Communities

ICI Medical has played a pivotal role in large-scale governmental and humanitarian healthcare initiatives across Africa. A flagship project involved collaboration with the Catholic Church to establish a network of umbrella clinics focused on combating HIV/AIDS while addressing related social challenges, including women’s rights and abuse prevention.

This work included the establishment of field clinics in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and broader efforts to improve access to care in underserved regions.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to sustainable, community-driven healthcare solutions that combine medical intervention with social empowerment.

COVID-19 Response:

Global Supply & Testing Strategy

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, ICI Medical rapidly mobilised to support frontline healthcare needs worldwide. Through strategic partnerships, we supplied a comprehensive range of certified, medical-grade products, including rapid serology and molecular test kits, patient monitors, ventilators, field hospitals, temperature screening devices, and PPE.

Our solutions were delivered across Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and South America.

In response to evolving needs, we developed an advanced testing algorithm combining rapid serology and molecular methods to improve detection accuracy in both symptomatic and asymptomatic populations. This approach was implemented in countries including Israel, The Netherlands, Honduras, Panama, and Costa Rica, as well as through partnerships with regional organizations such as the African Union.
